Helping couples rebuild trust, rediscover connection, and create a new path forward
💔 From Heartache to Healing: A Personal Journey That Fuels My Work

I come to this work not just as a trained therapist—but as someone who has lived through the very same relationship struggles many of my clients face.

I've been through divorce. I've navigated the complicated dance of co-parenting and the rollercoaster of blending a family. I’ve wrestled with emotional disconnection, rebuilding trust, and finding my way through grief, shame, and growth.

These experiences didn’t just shape who I am—they made me passionate about helping couples find their way back to each other.

Today, I’m in a new relationship that is tender, honest, and beautifully imperfect. I bring the wisdom of my past and the hope of what’s possible into every session.

I don’t offer cookie-cutter solutions—I offer deep presence, empathy, and real-world tools for change.

👣 Parenting Five Boys: Lessons in Patience, Flexibility & Connection

Raising five boys—yes, five!—has taught me more about communication, conflict resolution, and love than any textbook ever could.

Each of my sons is his own universe, with his own temperament, needs, and emotional rhythm. Parenting them has required humility, adaptability, and a whole lot of grace.

It's also given me a front-row seat to the power of small daily repairs and intentional connection—something I bring into my work with couples, especially during times of overwhelm or emotional distance.

Whether you're navigating the chaos of young children, trying to stay connected as teenagers pull away, or blending families later in life—I get it.

And I’m here to help.

🧘‍♀️ Mind-Body Wisdom & Holistic Support

As a Certified Health Coach and a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation, I believe that healing relationships often starts with tuning into our own nervous systems.

When we feel calm and centered, we show up more fully for the people we love. I integrate this awareness into my work with couples—supporting each partner in learning how to regulate, reflect, and reconnect.

My personal and professional journey has taught me that emotional wellness isn't just about talking through problems.

It's also about learning how to breathe through the tough moments, how to stay present when emotions run high, and how to ground yourself so you can stay connected instead of shutting down or lashing out.

💡 What Makes a Relationship Strong?

Every couple is different, but the core ingredients of a healthy relationship remain the same: emotional safety, clear and honest communication, mutual respect, and the ability to repair after conflict.

I help couples build and strengthen these foundations.

In our work together, we’ll focus on:

  • Turning toward instead of away – rebuilding habits of connection even when you’re hurt or angry

  • Understanding patterns – so you can stop the cycle before it spirals

  • Expressing needs clearly – and learning how to actually hear each other

  • Building emotional intimacy – even if you’ve been disconnected for years

  • Creating shared goals – so you feel like a team again, not two people living parallel lives

I’ll help you slow down, tune in, and get honest—so you can rediscover the trust, tenderness, and strength that brought you together in the first place.

🌈 Blended Families: A Journey of Grace & Growth

Blending a family is one of the most beautiful and challenging things I’ve ever done—and I bring that lived experience into every session with stepfamilies.

It’s a process full of love, awkwardness, growing pains, and unexpected joys. There are shifting roles, loyalty binds, new traditions, and sometimes… a lot of tension.

Whether you’re trying to figure out how to bond with stepchildren, navigating different parenting styles, or dealing with a partner who feels caught in the middle—I understand the terrain.

Together, we’ll work on creating a family culture that’s flexible, respectful, and authentic to who you are—not some idealized image of the “perfect” blended family.

🤝 Co-Parenting: Leading with Love, Even When It's Hard

As someone who co-parents, I know it can feel like you're juggling a thousand pieces—managing logistics, emotions, and your own well-being all at once.

Whether you're in a peaceful co-parenting rhythm or struggling with high-conflict communication, I provide a steady, nonjudgmental space to process what's hard and move toward what works.

I help co-parents:

  • Communicate respectfully, especially when emotions run high

  • Establish clear and sustainable boundaries

  • Support kids through transitions and divided homes

  • Navigate differences in parenting styles without losing your mind

  • Prioritize the child's well-being while protecting your own emotional health

You don’t have to agree on everything—you just need a roadmap that works for both of you and keeps your child’s needs at the center.

Whether you're dating, engaged, married, or somewhere in between… I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My job isn’t to take sides—it’s to help you both feel heard, understood, and supported as you figure out what’s next.

Whether that’s repairing your bond, improving communication, or deciding if staying together is the right path, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
